This shoe does run narrow, and I have wide feet - usually wear a 6 1/2, so I ordered a 7. It's still a bit long, but with foot pedals on the heel it's a nice fit. I realized now that their dress shoes are not so good. Pressure on top of foot, loud squeak when walking, run tight, poor circulation and feet get hot. Rockport has the best casual & business casual around, no question. The dress shoes probably could get out of that line of shoes in my opinion. Be careful in buying their dress shoes as they seem to have the same negatives as the Ellingwood. They are really nice and comfortable shoes, with the foam and all. It's not as "high" as they made it up to be (it's not like boots high), but it is a little above the ankles. The croc catches people’s attention, which caught my eye in the first place.
