These shoes are both comfortable, and semi-dressy. Not the most dressy to be sure, but dressy enough. They have enough height, but they are solid enough and the height is spread out in such a way that you never feel teetering. They have some coverage, but yet enough of a sandal to let your feet breathe. They show off pretty toes very nicely, too! A great shoe! Your foot will not slide around in these nor will you slip on the floor with the bottom tread. Good investment in flip flops. || Magnum Mens Elite Spider 8.0 SZ Great shoes for the money - These shoes required very little break-in time and are as comfortable as a dress shoe can be (apart from notable exceptions such as Rockport). They look great and even smell great - there is a very distinctive smell (not foot smell) that comes from these shoes. My only complaint is that it is very easy to scuff the leather up around the toe area. You may want to consider a half size larger. The fit might be too tight if your foot size requires an exact fit.
