It seems to run small and narrow and is not comfortable at all. If I was going on looks alone, this shoe is hot. I really like these shoes. The heel does seem higher than 2.5", but they do have a small platform base, so it doesn't really put too much pressure on the ball of your foot. I have an extremely high arch, so nothing really gives me support. I usually buy 5.5, but it was out, so got a 6, which gives me room for an insert. Everyone has different feet, and different likes. I have small narrow feet with a high arch, and wear mostly low/flat heels...and these are just fine for me. || Keds Kids On Deck CVO Tod/Pre Comfort at Last! These shoes fit great and are very comfortable. Wearing them really reduces my heel pain. They're not quite as stylish as one might like, but hey, you can't have everything. One minor caveat: if you have feet that tend to swell in heat, etc. and/or high arches, these may not be the shoes for you, because although the strap is plenty long, the velcro does not extend as far up the strap as it could in order to accommodate a higher arch/swollen foot. || Keds Kids On Deck CVO Tod/Pre Ok…not great. The sole has an awkward shape. The front end is too pointed and narrow. The space past the ends of my toes makes it seem like the shoe is almost a size too big. I just wish they would have had them in the black leather in the size I wanted. Overall these boots are great. The shipping was super fast. The heel strap is awkward to use and looks like it doesn't belong, kind of like putting a Volkswagen bumper on a Chevy Silverado pick-up. But it is functional. I just don't use it. You may want to consider a half size larger. The fit might be too tight if your foot size requires an exact fit.
