The 7.5 also chafed my toes; perhaps the shoe is too shallow up front. I have extremely narrow feet so this was a surprise. I have several other pairs that don't have this problem.

I have small ankles but a fairly high instep and the ankle strap does seem a bit shorter than the pair I had before, but by adjusting the strap it does fit.
