They started to get super smelly and the nubuck got flat and dark. I was looking all over the internet on how to clean them. Eventually I just threw them in the wash and put some baking soda on them. Got home to find that my mother-in-law was in the hospital. Headed straight there. Ended up wearing the shoe for 12 hours straight. Feet felt great. I usually have a lot of problems with heel pain and ball of foot pain. Pretty much nonexistent in this shoe. On my feet at work and have been wearing this shoe to work! I bought these shoes because I recently took a job that had safety rules and I needed comfortable (but good looking) casual shoes that were not open-toed or open at the heels. The way these shoes appear is great. I have wide feet and these look kind of like the Diesel style shoes I can't get. When I tried them on I was so disappointed as the way that the tongue and the elastic 'laces' looked as you can see your socks looking down at the top of the shoe. || Etnies Kids Calli-Crib love these boots.
