On the advice of other reviewers I did buy small, but should have gone a full size smaller. In fact a friend of mine tried it on and she wears a 7 1/2, my 6 1/2 fit her and is a little roomy for me. When I first put these on, they were a bit stiff around the ankle, but after 10 minutes of walking around the house, they were much better. I'm a 7.5-8, but I ordered in a 7, and they fit perfectly. It is extremely comfortable...from the first moment you put the shoes on to the end of the day. There is good arch support, ample room in the toe box, and the heel is close fitting. (I have a narrow heel but am wide in the toes...these shoes give me the perfect combination!) Importantly, the shoes also go well with pants and can be worn to work or in casual settings. || Eastland Womens Cody Cute, but runs big - I always wear an 8 1/2, but these in an 8 1/2 wouldn't even stay on my foot. I would definitely say they run big. They're very cute, and I LOVE the heel, but they aren't real leather and you can kind of tell if you really look.
