It is extremely comfortable...from the first moment you put the shoes on to the end of the day. There is good arch support, ample room in the toe box, and the heel is close fitting. (I have a narrow heel but am wide in the toes...these shoes give me the perfect combination!) I would definitely say they run big. They're very cute, and I LOVE the heel, but they aren't real leather and you can kind of tell if you really look.
